Wimborne Model Town Celebrates 70 Years

The Model Town is 70

If you have never been or have not taken the kids yet now is a good time to go as they celebrate their 70th Birthday, according to their website its now open every day during the season (2 April – 30 October 10am – 5pm).

Wimborne Model Town is a 1/10th scale of the centre of Wimborne as it was in the 1950s which opened in the 1952.
The Model Town is a Charity attraction so is mainly staffed by volunteers, it sits on a one acre site with Mature Gardens, Crazy Golf, Model Railway and Gift Shop.

Come and enjoy our vintage miniature world – take a free quiz sheet and discover the fascinating original 1950s diorama of Wimborne in 1/10th scale with over 100 shop fronts. Great fun for all ages, with mature gardens, undercover attractions, crazy golf, tea room and shop”.
